As a licensed architect and certified urban planner, I specialize in designing spaces that resonate with both functionality and aesthetics. My extensive experience in building and community design spans decades, with a focus on designing homes and commercial buildings, planning communities, and developing innovative concepts to address existing issues.

Writing White Papers and Books

In addition to architecture and urban planning, I immerse myself in the art of writing. Writing allows me to share stories, perspectives, and in-depth insights.

About Me

Through Semester at Sea, I was able to travel around the world and visit cities and villages all over Africa and Asia at just 20 years old. My experiences during the program helped me become a better urban planner. Since then, I have been working in the industry, bringing creativity and a deep understanding of urban and rural issues to each project. Missionary work in Peru gave me insight into basic needs through the Sanctissimo Church where Father Joe is doing amzing work in developing community
I now leverage over 35 years of experience working with a major international architecture and planning firm on every building and community design project that I undertake. During my decade as director of my company's Tokyo office, I raised my children in Japan. This immersion in the Land of the Rising Sun expanded and intensified my worldview.
